Building Productive Behavior with Leadership, Interpersonal Communication and Organizational Climate as Intervening Variables
Membangun Perilaku Produktif dengan Kepemimpinan, Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Iklim Organisasi Sebagai Variabel Intervening
Abstract
Human resources are productive individuals who act as organizational drivers with asset functions in both organizations and companies, so training and skills development are needed. To train skills that meet the needs of the company, a human resource management strategy is needed that will bring progress and change to the company. This study aims to examine the effect of leadership and interpersonal communication on employee productive behavior through organizational climate as an intervening variable at Gubug Makan Mangengking Surabaya. This research is a type of quantitative research with hypothesis testing. The sample used in this study were 60 employees of Gubug Makan Mangengking Surabaya. The analytical tool used in this research is SPSS. The results of this study prove that Leadership has an effect on Organizational Climate, Interpersonal Communication has an effect on Organizational Climate, Leadership has an effect on Employee Productive Behavior, Interpersonal Communication has an effect on Employee Productive Behavior, Organizational Climate has an effect on Employee Productive Behavior, Leadership has an effect on Employee Productive Behavior mediated by Organizational Climate, Interpersonal Communication has an effect on Employee Productive Behavior mediated by Organizational Climate. The benefits of research for science are that it adds knowledge and provides an opportunity for writers to apply the knowledge of personnel that has been studied so far.
